This research project aims to explore the implementation of sustainable supply chain practices in a small business environment through a comprehensive case study analysis. The study will focus on understanding the challenges and opportunities faced by small businesses in adopting sustainable supply chain practices and the impact of such practices on their overall performance. The research will be guided by a mixed-methods approach, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. The case study analysis will involve in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, including business owners, managers, and supply chain partners, to gather insights on their perspectives and experiences with sustainable practices. The study will utilize a purposive sampling technique to select a small business operating in the manufacturing sector as the case study organization. The findings of the study will be presented in chapter four, providing a detailed discussion of the key themes and insights derived from the case study analysis. The discussion will highlight the challenges faced by the small business in implementing sustainable practices, the strategies adopted to overcome these challenges, and the impact of sustainable practices on the business performance. The findings will also be compared with existing literature to identify similarities, differences, and areas for further research. In conclusion, this research project aims to contribute to the existing body of knowledge on sustainable supply chain practices in small businesses by providing valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by these enterprises.
