Project Abstract

This research study aims to investigate the implementation of Lean Management principles as a strategy to enhance operational efficiency in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The adoption of Lean Management practices has gained significant attention in recent years due to its potential to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve overall performance. However, there is limited research focusing on the application of Lean Management specifically within the context of SMEs, which are known for their resource constraints and operational challenges. The research will begin with a comprehensive review of existing literature on Lean Management principles and their effectiveness in various organizational settings. This literature review will explore key concepts such as waste reduction, continuous improvement, value stream mapping, and employee involvement, among others. By synthesizing and analyzing the existing body of knowledge, the study aims to provide a solid theoretical foundation for understanding the potential benefits and challenges of implementing Lean Management in SMEs.
