Project Abstract

<p><br>This project aims to explore the various challenges faced by adult learners who pursue higher education while juggling other responsibilities of work, family and life. It seeks to understand how balancing these dual roles impacts the educational experience and outcomes of adult students. The study will review existing literature on the subject and conduct interviews with 20 adult undergraduate students at a local community college. It analyzes common stressors they face and coping strategies adopted. Recommendations are provided to help educational institutions better support the non-traditional adult learner population.<br><br><br></p>
