Project Abstract

This research project aims to conduct a comprehensive bibliographic survey on the types of libraries in Nigeria from 2004 to 2010. The study will analyze the various types of libraries present in the country during this period, including academic libraries, public libraries, school libraries, and special libraries. The primary objective of the research is to provide an overview of the library landscape in Nigeria and to identify the trends and developments in the field of librarianship during the specified timeframe. By examining the different types of libraries and the services they offer, the study intends to shed light on the role of libraries in supporting education, research, and community development in Nigeria.
