Assessment of Sustainable Farming Practices in Improving Livelihoods of Rural Communities

Project Abstract

This research study aims to assess the impact of sustainable farming practices on the livelihoods of rural communities. The importance of sustainable farming practices in ensuring food security, environmental conservation, and economic development in rural areas cannot be overstated. The research will focus on identifying the various sustainable farming practices being implemented in rural communities and evaluating their effectiveness in improving the livelihoods of community members. The study will begin with a comprehensive literature review to provide a theoretical framework for understanding sustainable farming practices and their impact on rural livelihoods. Various scholarly articles, reports, and case studies will be analyzed to gain insights into the key concepts and theories related to sustainable farming practices. The research methodology will involve a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative research techniques. Surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions will be conducted with farmers, agricultural experts, and community members to gather data on the sustainable farming practices being implemented and their perceived impact on livelihoods.
