Project Abstract

<p><br><br> <br><br>This study examines the environmental impacts of various energy sources and patterns of energy usage. The sources analyzed include fossil fuels like oil, coal and natural gas, as well as renewable sources such as solar, wind, hydroelectric, geothermal and biomass. For each source, the life cycle impacts are considered from extraction/collection through processing, distribution and end use. Key environmental issues like air and water pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, land use impacts, and waste generation are evaluated. In addition, the impacts of different levels and patterns of energy consumption are explored. By comparing the impacts across sources and usage scenarios, this project aims to identify the most environmentally sustainable options for meeting local energy needs.<br><br><br></p>
