Project Abstract

Gastrointestinal disorders are common in dogs and can significantly impact their overall health and well-being. Probiotics have gained attention as a potential therapeutic option for managing gastrointestinal disorders in dogs due to their beneficial effects on gut health. This research project aims to evaluate the efficacy of probiotics in the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders in dogs. The study will involve a comprehensive literature review to establish the current understanding of probiotics and their potential benefits in managing gastrointestinal disorders in dogs. The research methodology will include a randomized controlled trial involving a sample of dogs diagnosed with various gastrointestinal disorders. The dogs will be divided into two groups, with one group receiving probiotic supplements and the other serving as a control group. The study will assess key parameters such as clinical signs, fecal quality, and gut microbiota composition before and after the probiotic intervention.
