Project Abstract

This research project aims to investigate the job prospects of secretaries in selected business organizations in Enugu State. Secretaries play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of an organization through their administrative and clerical support. However, with advancements in technology and changes in organizational structures, the role of secretaries has been evolving. This study seeks to explore how these changes impact the job prospects of secretaries in Enugu State. The research will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. Surveys will be conducted among secretaries working in various business organizations to gather information about their job roles, responsibilities, job satisfaction, and perceived job prospects. In-depth interviews will also be conducted with key stakeholders such as employers and human resource managers to gain insights into their perspectives on the job prospects of secretaries in the current business environment. The findings of this study are expected to provide valuable insights into the current job market for secretaries in Enugu State.
