Project Abstract
This research project focuses on exploring the problems and prospects faced by married female office managers in business organizations, with a specific case study of First Bank Plc. The study aims to investigate the unique challenges that married female office managers encounter in their professional roles and the potential opportunities for their career advancement within the banking sector. The research methodology employed a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches to gather data from a sample of married female office managers working at First Bank Plc. Data collection techniques included surveys, interviews, and observations to gain insights into the experiences of these women in balancing their marital responsibilities with their managerial roles. The findings of the study revealed several key problems faced by married female office managers, including challenges related to work-life balance, gender discrimination, lack of family support, and limited opportunities for career growth. These challenges often lead to stress, burnout, and feelings of being undervalued in the workplace. Despite the obstacles identified, the research also uncovered various prospects for married female office managers in business organizations. These prospects include the potential for mentorship programs, flexible work arrangements, leadership training, and initiatives to promote gender equality and diversity in the workplace. Overall, the study highlights the importance of addressing the unique needs and concerns of married female office managers to support their professional development and enhance their contributions to the organization. By recognizing and mitigating the challenges faced by these women, businesses like First Bank Plc can create a more inclusive and supportive work environment that empowers married female office managers to thrive in their careers. The research findings provide valuable insights for business organizations, policymakers, and human resource managers seeking to improve the experiences of married female office managers in the workplace. By implementing targeted interventions and support mechanisms, companies can foster a culture of equality, diversity, and inclusion that benefits both the individual employees and the organization as a whole.
