Telemedicine has emerged as a promising solution to address healthcare disparities in rural communities by providing access to healthcare services remotely. This research study aims to explore the impact of telemedicine on patient care in rural communities from a nursing perspective. The study will investigate how telemedicine interventions influence patient outcomes, nursing practices, and healthcare delivery in rural settings. A mixed-methods approach will be employed, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods to gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review on telemedicine, rural healthcare challenges, nursing roles in telemedicine, patient care outcomes, and existing research on the topic.
