Project Abstract
The purpose of this research project is to analyze the effectiveness of different brands of insecticide on various types of insects. Insecticides are widely used to control insect populations and reduce the damage they cause to crops, homes, and public health. However, the effectiveness of insecticides can vary greatly depending on the brand and the type of insect being targeted. In this study, we will compare the efficacy of three popular brands of insecticide - Brand A, Brand B, and Brand C - on three common household insects ants, cockroaches, and mosquitoes. We will conduct a series of experiments to determine the mortality rates of these insects when exposed to each brand of insecticide at recommended concentrations. The research will be conducted in a controlled laboratory setting to ensure accurate and reliable results. We will expose groups of insects to each brand of insecticide and monitor their mortality rates over a specified period of time. We will also record any behavioral changes in the insects, such as reduced activity or feeding. Additionally, we will analyze the residual effects of the insecticides by assessing how long they remain effective after application. This will provide valuable information on the longevity of each brand's effectiveness in controlling insect populations. The data collected from this research will be analyzed using statistical methods to compare the efficacy of the different brands of insecticide. We will also consider factors such as cost, environmental impact, and ease of application in our evaluation of the overall effectiveness of each brand. The results of this study will contribute to our understanding of the effectiveness of different brands of insecticide on common household insects. This information will be valuable for consumers, pest control professionals, and policymakers in making informed decisions about which insecticide to use for insect control. In conclusion, this research project aims to provide insights into the effectiveness of various brands of insecticide on insects. By comparing the efficacy of different brands on common household insects, we hope to help consumers choose the most effective insecticide for their specific needs.
Project Overview

As a statistician, in other to acquire the motive behind this research or project statistical techniques will employed after the results of an experiment have obtained or generated. However, in order to gain as much information as possible the design of an experiment must be planned carefully in advance this is often referred to as the design of the experiment. Some important examples of experimental design are complete randomization, random block, latin squares Greco Latin sqares etc.

In the same vain, this project work emanated as a result of some unasserted question concerning different brands of insecticide which is the population of interest. Thus, the topic of this research work is analysis of effectiveness of different brands of insecticide on insects is born out of the following question: Is it also true that the effectiveness of a particular insecticide is determined by the type of insect or that the brands of insecticide apply has influence on the time spend by killing an insect? Is it really possible that these insecticides perform the same function at equal time period? Do these insects spends the same time to die with different brands of insecticide
