Project Abstract

This research project aims to investigate the significant role of non-state actors in shaping modern international relations. Non-state actors, including non-governmental organizations (NGOs), multinational corporations, terrorist groups, and international institutions, have increasingly influenced global politics and diplomacy in the contemporary world. This study seeks to analyze the impact of these non-state actors on state behavior, international cooperation, conflict resolution, and global governance. The research begins with an introduction that outlines the importance of studying non-state actors in international relations and provides a background of the topic. The problem statement highlights the growing influence of non-state actors and the challenges they pose to traditional state-centric approaches to international relations. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology, including the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, and data analysis procedures. It also discusses ethical considerations and potential limitations of the research methodology. Chapter Four presents the findings of the study, including an in-depth analysis of the roles and impact of non-state actors in shaping modern international relations.
