Through a comprehensive literature review, ten key themes related to remote work, employee engagement, and performance were identified, providing a theoretical foundation for the study. The research methodology involves a mixed-methods approach, including surveys and interviews with HR professionals and employees from diverse industries. Chapter four discusses the findings in detail, highlighting the varying perceptions and experiences of remote work among employees and the strategies employed by HR departments to enhance engagement and performance. The study reveals that effective communication, technological support, flexible work arrangements, and well-being initiatives are crucial for maintaining high levels of engagement and performance in a remote work setting. The conclusion synthesizes the research findings, emphasizing the importance of proactive HR practices in adapting to the challenges of remote work and fostering a culture of engagement and productivity.
