Diagnosis of leukemia involves blood tests, bone marrow tests, and genetic testing to determine the type and severity of the disease. Treatment options for leukemia depend on the type of leukemia, the patient's age and overall health, and other factors. Common treatment approaches include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy, and stem cell transplantation. These treatments aim to destroy cancerous cells, prevent their growth and spread, and restore normal blood cell production.
