Dietary fiber plays a crucial role in maintaining gastrointestinal health and modulating gut microbiota, yet its specific impact on young adults remains underexplored. This study aims to evaluate the relationship between dietary fiber intake and gut microbiota composition and to assess how these microbial changes influence digestive health among young adults aged 18-30 years. A cross-sectional study was conducted involving 300 participants recruited from universities and community settings. Dietary intake was assessed using validated food frequency questionnaires, focusing specifically on types and quantities of dietary fiber consumed.
