Project Abstract
<p> The study examined politics and religion in Nigeria with a study of 2011 elections in Nigeria. Nigeria during 2011 elections witnessed series of religions crisis, politically motivated killings and social conflicts. The present situation of political and religious motivated violence is a great source of concern for Nigerian politics. The conflicts range from intra-religious to inter-religious. These conflicts often result in loss of lives and properties. The methodology adopted for this study was descriptive and survey methods. The study concludes that Nigeria’s political landscape has been under the grip of too numerous political and religious crisis which are politically motivated, sponsored and have become an unfortunate feature of the present political dispensation. <br></p>Project Overview
