Project Abstract

Urban beautification programs are essential in enhancing the aesthetics and functionality of cities. This research project aims to investigate the perception of the urban beautification program in Ibadan, Nigeria. The study will explore the impact of the beautification efforts on the residents' quality of life, sense of community pride, and overall satisfaction with the city's appearance. The research will employ a mixed-methods approach, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. Surveys will be conducted to gather quantitative data on the residents' perceptions of the beautification program, including their satisfaction levels, perceived benefits, and areas for improvement. In addition, focus group discussions and interviews will be conducted to delve deeper into the residents' experiences and perceptions of the program.
