Project Abstract

<p><br><br> <br><br>Air pollution is a major environmental and public health issue around the world. Vehicle emissions and power plants that burn fossil fuels like coal are significant contributors to air pollution in many cities and regions. This project examines the sources and health impacts of air pollution from transportation and energy generation. It then evaluates various strategies that have been implemented or proposed to reduce emissions from these sectors. Case studies from cities and countries that have successfully lowered air pollution levels through emissions standards, fuel switching, and other measures are also presented. The goal of this research is to identify effective policy options and technological solutions to curb air pollution from vehicles and power plants and improve air quality for communities.<br><br><br></p>
