Project Abstract

<p><br><br><br>Climate change poses one of the greatest threats to our environment, society and economy. This project aims to study the causes and impacts of climate change and explore ways to adapt to its consequences as well as mitigate further climate change. The research will analyze historical climate data to understand trends in temperature rise and extreme weather events. Key vulnerabilities across sectors will be identified to formulate suitable adaptation strategies. Various mitigation techniques will be evaluated with a focus on renewable energy, energy efficiency, afforestation and reducing emissions from industries and transportation. The research concludes with policy recommendations to build climate resilience at local, national and global levels.<br><br><br></p>
