Project Abstract

Access to clean drinking water and sanitation is essential for human health and well-being. However, billions of people worldwide still lack access to these basic services. This project aims to examine challenges and opportunities for improving access to clean drinking water and sanitation on a global scale. Key issues that will be explored include water scarcity, inadequate infrastructure, lack of funding, and inequitable distribution. Case studies from developing nations will be analyzed to identify successful strategies, policies, and technologies that can be applied in other locations. The goal is to develop a set of evidence-based recommendations for governments, NGOs, and international organizations working to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 6 of ensuring availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all by 2030.
