It also examines how effective adult functional literacy programme has contributed to individual development.</p><p>The methodological study attempts some strategies and practical solutions to some of the perceived problems that emasculate or hindered effective and efficient adult functional literacy programme.</p><p>It is the believe of the researcher that if the information in this project work is carefully utilized, it will produce the result of advancing economic development through functional literacy programmes.</p><p>Finally, this project work is of immense value for those who need a true understanding of adult functional literacy programme.
