Project Abstract

<p> This research project aims to investigate the relationship between oral health and HIV/AIDS, with a focus on oral manifestations, dental care access, and the impact of antiretroviral therapy. Individuals living with HIV/AIDS often experience oral health complications, including oral lesions, periodontal diseases, and oral infections. The study will explore the prevalence of oral manifestations among HIV-positive individuals, the barriers to accessing dental care, and the role of antiretroviral therapy in improving oral health outcomes. The findings will contribute to a better understanding of the oral health needs of people living with HIV/AIDS and inform the development of tailored dental care interventions. <br></p>
