Assessment of the Impact of Oral Health Education on Oral Hygiene Practices in School Children

Project Abstract

This research study aimed to assess the impact of oral health education on oral hygiene practices among school children. The importance of oral health education in promoting good oral hygiene practices among children cannot be overstated, as it plays a crucial role in preventing dental diseases and promoting overall health and well-being. The study was conducted with the objective of evaluating the effectiveness of oral health education programs in improving oral hygiene practices and raising awareness among school children. The research methodology involved a quantitative approach, utilizing surveys and assessments to collect data from a sample of school children who participated in oral health education programs. The data collected were analyzed using statistical methods to determine the impact of the education programs on the oral hygiene practices of the participants. The findings of the study revealed a significant improvement in oral hygiene practices among school children who received oral health education compared to those who did not.
