Project Abstract

Tooth whitening has become a popular cosmetic dental procedure, with various techniques and products available in the market. This research project aims to assess the efficacy of different tooth whitening techniques in improving dental aesthetics. The study focuses on comparing the effectiveness of professional in-office whitening treatments, at-home whitening kits, and natural whitening remedies. The research methodology involves a randomized controlled trial with a sample population of 100 participants aged between 18-60 years. The participants will be divided into three groups, each receiving one of the whitening techniques under investigation. Objective assessments of tooth shade changes will be conducted using the Vita Classical shade guide and digital imaging analysis before and after the whitening treatments. Additionally, participant satisfaction surveys and sensitivity assessments will be carried out to evaluate the overall experience and potential side effects associated with each whitening technique. The data collected will be analyzed using statistical methods to determine the efficacy and safety profile of the different tooth whitening methods.
