Community policing has emerged as a popular strategy for enhancing police-community relations and reducing crime in urban areas. This research study investigates the impact of community policing on crime reduction in urban settings. The study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the effectiveness of community policing programs in improving public safety and reducing crime rates. The research begins with an introduction that outlines the background of community policing, its significance in addressing crime challenges in urban areas, and the problem statement that highlights the need for a detailed investigation into the impact of community policing on crime reduction. The objectives of the study are to assess the effectiveness of community policing programs, identify the limitations of existing initiatives, and determine the scope of community policing in enhancing public safety.
