Body-worn cameras (BWCs) have become increasingly prevalent in law enforcement agencies as a tool to enhance police accountability and citizen perceptions. This research project aims to investigate the impact of body-worn cameras on police accountability and citizen perceptions through a comprehensive analysis of existing literature, empirical studies, and case examples. The study will explore the effectiveness of BWCs in promoting transparency, trust, and accountability within police-citizen interactions, as well as the challenges and limitations associated with their implementation.
