Project Abstract

Poverty alleviation programmes play a crucial role in addressing the issues of poverty that affect millions of people globally. This research project aims to investigate the impact of such programmes on individuals and communities. The study will examine various poverty alleviation initiatives implemented by governments, non-governmental organizations, and international agencies. The primary focus of the research will be to evaluate the effectiveness of these programmes in lifting people out of poverty and improving their quality of life. By analyzing data from case studies and quantitative surveys, the project seeks to identify the strengths and weaknesses of different poverty alleviation approaches. Furthermore, the research will explore the long-term effects of poverty alleviation programmes on economic development, social cohesion, and overall well-being. It will investigate how these initiatives contribute to sustainable growth and empowerment of marginalized populations. Overall, this project seeks to contribute valuable insights into the effectiveness of poverty alleviation programmes and their significance in promoting inclusive development and reducing inequality. The findings will be beneficial for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers working in the field of poverty reduction and social welfare.
