Project Abstract

<p> This research project aims to examine the role of cooperative enterprises in creating employment opportunities for young people and the impact of youth participation in cooperatives on their socio-economic development. The study will investigate the various ways in which cooperatives engage and empower youth, the challenges and opportunities they face in integrating young members into their workforce, and the long-term effects of cooperative employment on youth livelihoods. By conducting surveys, focus group discussions, and case studies, the project seeks to provide insights into the potential of cooperatives as a vehicle for youth employment and entrepreneurship, and identify best practices for maximizing their impact on youth development. <br></p>
