Employing a sequential mixed-methods design, the research combines a cross-sectional survey of 350 SMEs with in-depth interviews of 40 executives and IT managers to capture both breadth and depth of DT practices, including cloud computing, e-commerce, data analytics, digital marketing, supply chain technology, and cyber security. The quantitative analysis uses structural equation modeling to test a comprehensive framework linking DT capabilities (digital literacy, organizational agility, data governance, and technology integration) to sustainability performance indicators (revenue growth, cost reduction, carbon footprint, workplace well-being, and social impact).
