Project Abstract

<p> This project aims to study the effects of different light regimes on plant flowering time. Light is a crucial environmental factor that influences various aspects of plant growth and development, including flowering. Understanding how different light conditions affect flowering time is important for optimizing crop production and manipulating flowering in horticultural practices. In this study, we will investigate the impact of light intensity, duration, and quality on the timing of flowering in selected plant species. We will analyze the physiological and molecular mechanisms underlying light-mediated flowering responses, including the involvement of photoreceptors and flowering time genes. The findings from this research will contribute to our understanding of the regulatory mechanisms of flowering and provide insights into strategies for controlling flowering time in plants. <br></p>
