Project Abstract

The rapid expansion of telecommunication networks worldwide has led to an increasing number of telecommunication masts being erected in urban and rural areas. These masts emit non-ionizing radiation, raising concerns about potential health effects on the surrounding population. Public awareness of the health effects of radiation emitted from telecommunication masts is essential for informed decision-making and risk mitigation. This research project aims to assess the level of public awareness regarding the health effects of radiation from telecommunication masts. A mixed-methods approach will be utilized, including surveys and interviews with residents living in proximity to telecommunication masts.
