Project Abstract

<p> This project aims to investigate the role of plant root exudates in nutrient cycling. Root exudates are organic compounds released by plant roots into the soil, which play a crucial role in nutrient acquisition and cycling. This study will examine the composition and quantity of root exudates produced by different plant species and their impact on nutrient availability and microbial activity in the rhizosphere. By conducting controlled experiments and analyzing soil samples, this project seeks to understand the mechanisms by which root exudates influence nutrient cycling processes. The findings of this study will contribute to our knowledge of plant-soil interactions and nutrient dynamics in ecosystems. <br></p>
