Project Abstract

<p>This research project aims to explore the impact of outdoor fieldwork on student attitudes towards biology in a high school setting. The study will investigate how engaging in hands-on fieldwork activities, such as ecological surveys, plant identification, and animal behavior observations, can influence students' interest, motivation, and perception of the relevance of biology. A mixed-methods approach will be employed, involving pre- and post-surveys, classroom observations, and focus group interviews with students. The research will be conducted in collaboration with a local nature reserve, providing students with authentic learning experiences in a natural environment. The findings of this study will contribute to the understanding of the benefits of outdoor fieldwork in biology education and inform educators on effective strategies to enhance student attitudes towards the subject.<br></p>
