Project Abstract

<p> Protein ubiquitination is a post-translational modification that plays a crucial role in regulating protein stability, localization, and function. This project aims to analyze the biochemistry of protein ubiquitination and its implications in cellular processes. Through a combination of biochemical assays, proteomic analysis, and structural studies, we will investigate the enzymes involved in protein ubiquitination, the substrates targeted for ubiquitination, and the functional consequences of this modification.
