Project Abstract

<p> This research project aims to explore the benefits of art education for students' ability to engage in interdisciplinary thinking. Interdisciplinary thinking involves making connections between different disciplines and integrating knowledge and skills from various fields. Art education has the potential to foster interdisciplinary thinking by encouraging students to explore and combine different forms of artistic expression. However, limited research has been conducted on how art education specifically promotes interdisciplinary thinking. This study will employ a qualitative research approach, including interviews, classroom observations, and analysis of student artworks, to examine the impact of art education on students' interdisciplinary thinking skills. The findings will contribute to the field of art education and provide insights into the role of art in developing students' ability to think across disciplines. <br></p>
