Project Abstract
The evaluation of football academy buildings is a critical aspect of ensuring the proper functioning and effectiveness of these facilities in nurturing young football talents. This research project aims to assess various aspects of football academy buildings to provide insights into their design, functionality, and overall impact on player development. The study will focus on evaluating the architectural layout of the buildings, including the training facilities, classrooms, accommodation, and recreational areas. Furthermore, the research will analyze the structural integrity of the buildings to ensure they meet safety standards and can withstand the rigors of daily use by players and staff. The evaluation will also consider the accessibility of the facilities, including parking, entrances, and amenities for players, coaches, and visitors. Additionally, the project will assess the sustainability features of the buildings, such as energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste management practices. In terms of functionality, the research will examine how well the buildings support the training and educational needs of the academy's players. This will involve assessing the layout of training pitches, gymnasiums, classrooms, and other essential spaces to determine if they are conducive to player development. The study will also evaluate the technology infrastructure of the buildings, including internet connectivity, audiovisual equipment, and data management systems. Moreover, the research will explore the overall impact of football academy buildings on player development and performance. This will involve gathering feedback from players, coaches, and other stakeholders to understand their experiences with the facilities and identify areas for improvement. By evaluating the buildings' design, functionality, and impact, the research aims to provide recommendations for enhancing the overall effectiveness of football academy buildings in nurturing young talents and promoting excellence in the sport. Overall, this research project on the evaluation of football academy buildings is essential for ensuring that these facilities are well-designed, functional, and supportive of player development. By assessing various aspects of the buildings, including architecture, structural integrity, accessibility, sustainability, functionality, and impact, the study aims to provide valuable insights for optimizing the design and operation of football academy buildings to maximize their effectiveness in developing the next generation of football stars.

To determine a suitable location for football academy building.

ii. To design the football academy building.

iii. To establish comfortable spaces in Federal Polytechnic football academy building.

1.4 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The findings of the study will significantly contribute to the design for football academy building in Federal Polytechnic Oko.

The study will also provide a suitable location for the football academy building, for easy access for student and staffs.

1.5 SCOPE OF THE STUDY

This study is made to evaluate the location, design and space of football academy in federal polytechnic oko.It covered only football academy in Federal Polytechnic Oko not at Atani campus.

1.6 LIMITATION OF THE STUDY

The following limitations are inherent in the study

1. They were no register to access.

2. There were no much interesting students so; they find it difficult to accept the questionnaire from the researcher.
