Project Abstract

<p> This project aims to explore the potential of gene editing techniques in enhancing biofuel production. Biofuels have emerged as a promising alternative to fossil fuels, but their production efficiency and yield need improvement. Gene editing technologies, such as CRISPR-Cas9, offer precise and targeted modifications to the genetic makeup of organisms involved in biofuel production, including microorganisms and plants.
