Project Abstract

The poultry industry plays a crucial role in providing a sustainable source of protein for human consumption. Within this industry, broiler chickens are one of the most commonly raised poultry species due to their rapid growth rate and efficient conversion of feed into meat. The feeding strategies employed in broiler production have a significant impact on the growth and health of the birds. This research project aims to investigate the effects of different feeding strategies on the growth performance and health status of broiler chickens. The study will be conducted over a period of 12 weeks, during which broiler chickens will be subjected to three different feeding strategies a conventional diet, an organic diet, and a diet supplemented with probiotics. The growth performance of the birds will be assessed by measuring parameters such as body weight gain, feed intake, and feed conversion ratio. In addition, the health status of the birds will be evaluated through monitoring parameters such as mortality rate, disease incidence, and immune response. A comprehensive review of existing literature on broiler nutrition and feeding strategies will be conducted to provide a theoretical framework for the study. This literature review will explore the impact of different feed ingredients, additives, and supplements on the growth and health of broiler chickens. The research methodology will involve the random assignment of broiler chickens to different treatment groups, with each group receiving a specific feeding strategy. Data analysis will be carried out using appropriate statistical methods to compare the growth performance and health status of broiler chickens under different feeding strategies. The findings of the study will be discussed in relation to existing literature, highlighting the implications for broiler production practices. The limitations of the study, such as sample size and environmental factors, will also be addressed.
