Effects of different feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens

Project Abstract

The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the global demand for animal protein. In this study, the effects of different feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens were investigated. The aim was to determine the optimal feeding approach that would enhance growth performance and overall productivity in broiler chickens. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review, covering ten key aspects related to feeding strategies and growth performance in broiler chickens. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology, detailing the research design, sampling techniques, data collection methods, data analysis procedures, and ethical considerations, among other relevant aspects. Chapter Four presents the findings of the study, discussing seven key items related to the impact of different feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The results revealed significant differences in growth performance metrics, such as weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and mortality rates, among broiler chickens subjected to various feeding strategies. Factors such as feed composition, feeding schedules, and nutrient availability were found to influence growth performance outcomes. Chapter Five concludes the research by summarizing the key findings, discussing their implications for the poultry industry, and suggesting recommendations for future research and practical application. Overall, this study contributes valuable insights into optimizing feeding strategies to enhance the growth performance of broiler chickens, ultimately improving productivity and profitability in the poultry sector.
