Effect of Different Feeding Strategies on Growth Performance of Broiler Chickens

Project Abstract

The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the increasing demand for animal protein worldwide. One of the key factors influencing the growth performance and overall productivity of broiler chickens is their feeding strategy. This research project aims to investigate the effect of different feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The study will focus on comparing the growth parameters, feed conversion efficiency, and economic viability of broiler chickens fed with different feeding strategies. The research will be conducted using a randomized controlled trial design, with three experimental groups representing different feeding strategies conventional commercial feed, organic feed, and a mix of commercial and organic feed. A total of 300 broiler chickens will be assigned to each group, and their growth performance will be monitored over an 8-week period. Data on feed intake, body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, mortality rate, and production costs will be collected and analyzed. The findings of this research are expected to provide valuable insights into the impact of different feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The results will help poultry farmers and industry stakeholders make informed decisions regarding the selection of feeding strategies that optimize growth performance and economic efficiency. Additionally, the study will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on poultry nutrition and management practices.
