Project Abstract

<p> The emergence and spread of antibiotic-resistant bacteria pose a significant threat to both human and animal health. Understanding the factors contributing to the spread of antibiotic resistance is crucial for developing effective strategies to mitigate its impact. This project aims to analyze the role of animal behavior in the transmission of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. By investigating the behavioral patterns of animals in different settings, such as farms, veterinary clinics, and wildlife habitats, this study seeks to identify potential mechanisms through which animals contribute to the dissemination of antibiotic resistance. The findings of this research will provide valuable insights into the complex dynamics between animal behavior and the spread of antibiotic resistance, ultimately informing the development of targeted interventions to prevent and control this global health concern. <br></p>
