Project Abstract

<p> This research project aims to investigate the role of agricultural education in promoting sustainable agro-processing practices. Agro-processing plays a crucial role in adding value to agricultural products, reducing post-harvest losses, and enhancing food security. However, the adoption of sustainable agro-processing practices is still limited in many regions. This study will examine the current state of agro-processing practices and the role of agricultural education in promoting sustainability within this sector. By conducting interviews with agro-processors, farmers, and agricultural educators, as well as analyzing existing literature, this research will provide insights into the challenges and opportunities for integrating sustainable practices into agro-processing. The findings of this study will contribute to the development of strategies and recommendations for agricultural education programs to enhance the adoption of sustainable agro-processing practices. <br></p>
