Project Abstract

<p> This research project aims to investigate the role of agricultural education in promoting sustainable fisheries practices. Fisheries play a vital role in providing food security, livelihoods, and economic opportunities for coastal communities. However, unsustainable fishing practices, overfishing, and habitat destruction pose significant threats to fish stocks and marine ecosystems. This study will examine how agricultural education can contribute to the adoption of sustainable fisheries practices by fishermen and coastal communities. By analyzing existing literature, conducting field surveys, and engaging with key stakeholders, this research will provide insights into the effectiveness of agricultural education programs in promoting sustainable fishing methods, marine conservation, and the well-being of fishing communities. The findings of this study will contribute to the existing knowledge on the role of education in fisheries management and inform policymakers and educators on strategies to enhance the sustainability of fisheries through agricultural education. <br></p>
