Project Abstract

<p>Farm waste management is an important aspect of sustainable agriculture. Improper disposal of farm waste can pollute soil and water resources. This study aims to evaluate different farm waste management practices followed by farmers in [location] and their impact on environment. A survey was conducted among 100 farmers to understand the types and quantities of wastes generated from their farms. Various waste treatment and disposal methods practiced by farmers like composting, vermicomposting, biogas generation etc. were studied. The environmental impacts in terms of pollution load, greenhouse gas emissions from different practices were modeled and compared. The study provides recommendations for adoption of efficient farm waste management systems.<br><br><br></p>
