Project Abstract

This study examines the relevance of working capital management in a firm, focusing on a case study of Metrock Investment Nigeria. Working capital management plays a crucial role in the financial health and performance of a company. The efficient management of working capital is essential for sustaining operations, meeting short-term obligations, and maximizing profitability. In the context of Metrock Investment Nigeria, a comprehensive analysis of the company's working capital management practices was conducted to assess their effectiveness in optimizing liquidity and operational efficiency. The research methodology involved a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches. Financial data from Metrock Investment Nigeria was collected and analyzed to evaluate the company's working capital components such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, and inventory. Additionally, interviews with key personnel and managers provided insights into the company's working capital policies, procedures, and challenges faced in managing working capital effectively. The findings of the study revealed that working capital management significantly impacts the financial performance of Metrock Investment Nigeria.
