This research project aims to investigate the efficacy of topical herbal remedies for the treatment of acne in adolescents. Traditional treatment options for acne often include medications that may have side effects or limited effectiveness, prompting the exploration of alternative remedies such as herbal treatments. The study will involve a comprehensive literature review to examine existing research on the use of topical herbal remedies for acne treatment. This review will encompass studies on the effectiveness, safety, and mechanisms of action of various herbal ingredients commonly used in acne treatments. The literature review will also explore the cultural and historical significance of herbal remedies in dermatology, shedding light on their potential benefits and limitations. Furthermore, the research methodology will involve conducting a clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy of a specific topical herbal remedy in a sample of adolescents with acne.
