Abstract
Acne vulgaris is a common skin condition that affects individuals of various ages, often leading to physical and psychological distress. Traditional treatments for acne include topical medications, oral antibiotics, and isotretinoin, but these approaches may be associated with side effects or limited efficacy. In recent years, photodynamic therapy (PDT) has emerged as a promising alternative for the treatment of acne vulgaris. PDT involves the use of a photosensitizing agent activated by light to target and destroy acne-causing bacteria and reduce sebum production. This research aims to investigate the efficacy of PDT in treating acne vulgaris by evaluating its clinical outcomes, safety profile, and patient satisfaction.
