Project Abstract

This project aims to investigate the potential therapeutic benefits of topical antioxidants in the management of acne vulgaris, a common skin condition that affects millions of individuals worldwide. Acne vulgaris is a multifactorial disease that involves a complex interplay of factors, including sebum production, bacterial colonization, inflammation, and oxidative stress. Conventional treatments for acne, such as topical retinoids, antibiotics, and hormonal therapies, often have limited efficacy and can be associated with adverse side effects.
