The project focused on assessing the outcomes of traditional methods such as in-office bleaching, at-home bleaching trays, and over-the-counter whitening products, as well as newer technologies like laser whitening and light-activated whitening systems. The introduction provided an overview of the significance of teeth whitening in modern dentistry, highlighting the growing demand for aesthetic dental procedures and the importance of patient satisfaction. The background of the study explored the historical evolution of teeth whitening techniques and the scientific principles behind the mechanisms of action of different whitening agents. The problem statement identified the lack of comprehensive evidence-based guidelines regarding the most effective and safe teeth whitening methods, leading to variations in clinical practice and patient outcomes.
