This research project aims to assess and compare the effectiveness of various toothpaste formulations in preventing dental caries through a comprehensive analysis of existing literature, experimental studies, and empirical findings. The research methodology encompasses a systematic review of relevant literature to establish a robust theoretical framework. Ten chapters in the literature review section delve into the historical background of toothpaste development, the key active ingredients in toothpaste formulations, the mechanisms of action in preventing dental caries, and the comparative analysis of different types of toothpaste in clinical trials. The synthesis of these studies provides a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape in toothpaste efficacy research.
